Peterson SEO ("we", "us", "our") operates restorationdominationsystem.com and the Restoration Domination System™. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
Peterson SEO is a marketing agency based in Chico, California, serving independent restoration and contracting companies across the United States. You can reach us at marketing@petersonseoconsulting.com or through petersonseoconsulting.com.
Information you give us
When you complete an application on this site, we collect your name, company name, phone number, email address, and primary service area. We also collect your answers to the qualifying questions, which cover things like where your jobs currently come from, how long you have been in business, how many crews you run, your website address, your approximate annual revenue range, and whether you are open to running paid advertising.
If you book a call, our scheduling provider collects your name, email, and the time you selected.
If you begin an application and leave before finishing, we may retain the contact details and partial answers you had already entered, so that we can follow up. If you would rather we did not, email us and we will delete them.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we automatically receive your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, the pages you view, how long you spend on them, and the website or advertisement that referred you. We also record advertising parameters attached to the link you arrived through, so we can tell which campaign or advertisement brought you here.
Cookies and tracking technologies
We use the following, and you can opt out of each:
- Google Analytics 4 measures how the site is used. Opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Meta Pixel measures advertising performance and allows us to show ads to people who have visited this site. Manage this in your Facebook Ad Preferences.
- Necessary storage keeps your answers as you move between steps of the application. It is cleared when you close your browser.
Most browsers let you refuse cookies or alert you when one is set. Blocking them may stop parts of the application from working properly.
How we use your information
- To determine whether your company is a fit for our services
- To contact you about your application by email, phone, or text message
- To prepare for and conduct a scheduled call
- To research your market before making a recommendation
- To measure which advertisements and pages are working
- To meet our legal and record keeping obligations
Calls and text messages
By submitting an application you agree that we may contact you at the phone number and email address you provide, including by automated text message, about your application and our services. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for assistance. You can opt out of emails using the unsubscribe link in any message we send.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other marketing agencies or lead brokers.
We share information only with service providers who help us operate, and only as needed:
- Our scheduling provider, for booking calls
- Our automation and spreadsheet providers, for storing and routing applications
- Our customer relationship system, for managing follow up
- Our email and text messaging providers, for communicating with you
- Google and Meta, for advertising measurement as described above
We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
How long we keep it
We keep application data for as long as needed for the purposes above, and afterwards only as long as required for legal, tax, or record keeping reasons. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act gives you the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you and where it came from
- Request a copy of that information
- Request that we delete it
- Request that we correct anything inaccurate
- Opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under California law. To exercise any of these rights, email marketing@petersonseoconsulting.com and we will respond within the timeframe the law requires. We may need to verify your identity first.
Rights outside California
Residents of other states with privacy laws, including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and Texas, have similar rights of access, correction, and deletion. Use the same email address and we will honour them.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. There is no common industry standard for responding to it, so our site does not currently respond to those signals. The opt outs listed above still work.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information you give us. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is intended for business owners and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Links to other sites
Our site links to other websites we do not control. This policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for their practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a revised date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
